Our Tech

Automated hardware, from launch to lab.

The platform spans flight-qualified crystallisation reactors, a ground-based formulation lab, and the analytics pipeline that connects the two.

The process

01

Formulate & prep

Client protein is buffer-exchanged and loaded into sealed, single-use crystallisation cassettes on the ground.

02

Launch to orbit

Cassettes fly to a microgravity platform inside a temperature-controlled payload, automated from integration to activation.

03

Grow in microgravity

Onboard hardware controls temperature and nucleation timing over days to weeks, monitored via telemetry.

04

Return & analyse

Crystals return to Earth for imaging, diffraction analysis, and comparison against Earth-grown controls.

05

Scale on the ground

Validated conditions are translated into a seeded, ground-based batch process for commercial-scale manufacturing.
